  • Drain the tub following the draining instructions for your model
  • Wipe the tub down with a household degreaser
  • Rinse the tub out thoroughly (Not rinsing thoroughly can cause foaming)
  • Fill the tub to two inches above the highest drain or jet.
  • Heat the water to 104 degrees or add hot water until it is above 95 degrees.
  • If your filter is less than a week old and there’s no visible dirt or debris you can use that filter.
    • If your filter is over a week old or has a lot of visible dirt and debris, please change the filter before continuing.
  • Using the Solvent pour half the bottle into the water. It is VERY important to have hot water for the product to work as designed.
  • Turn the Deeptime Cold Plunge back on.
    • If your unit has a ball valve on the connections, ensure it is in the open position before turning the unit back on.
  • Set the temperature to 100 degrees (or highest possible temperature) to make sure the tub does not try and chill during this process.
  • Run the tub OVERNIGHT
  • The next day, pause the tub and then turn the unit off.
  • Drain and thoroughly rinse out the tub.

    Sanitize the Tub (Part 2)

  • Fill the tub to two inches above the highest drain or jet.
  • Turn the Deeptime Cold Plunge on and make sure jets are running.
  • Set the temperature to 100 degrees to make sure the tub does not try and chill during this process.
  • Using the amount of sanitizer that’s in the start up of the water maintenance protocol you are following, add it to the water.
  • Run the Deeptime Cold Plunge for 20 minutes.
  • Once the tub has been running for 20 minutes, keep it running and begin filling it up all the way.
  • You can now follow the rest of the water maintenance protocol sans the sanitizer  that has already been added.

Once every step has been completed please follow the change filter instructions for your model to complete your Deep Clean.
