Water Chemistry Outline

  • We recommend showering prior to use for anyone using the Deeptime Cold Plunge. This will help maintain the chemical balance in the water.
  • Important note: keeping the Deeptime Cold Plunge All-in outside will shorten the lifespan of the chemicals due to UV rays and more organic material entering the water.
  • The Deeptime Cold Plunge All-In should not be filled with well water. Please make sure to properly strip the
  • water with an ion exchange filter before filling the Deeptime Cold Plunge if you are on well water.
  • The Deeptime Cold Plunge All-In maintenance protocol is based on cold water only. For more details please refer to this article: Caring for the Residential Deeptime Cold Plunge All-In.

Drain Information

  • Main Tub Drain: When you are facing the tub LED display screen, the main tub drain is located in the right hand vent. The primary purpose of this drain is to empty the tub.
  • Winterization Drain (Jet and Filter Housing Drain): When you are facing the tub LED display screen, the winterization drain is located in the left hand vent. The only use for this drain is to empty the jets and filter housing for storage/winterization. If used instead of the main tub drain, there will be 3-4 inches of water still left in the tub.

Important warranty information
Please note that damage caused by freezing conditions or improper water chemistry are not covered under our warranty. If the temperature in your area drops below freezing and water isn’t flowing, your plumbing system will crack and break.

Please monitor your Deeptime Cold Plunge daily when the outside temperature is close to below freezing to ensure constant flow. If the ambient temperature is below 32°F / 0°C for 12 hours, you must drain the Deeptime Cold Plunge, filter and chiller and fully winterize the Plunge.

The Plunge should Run 24/7 - Stagnant water is not sanitary for the system. Solidified bio-matter can form inside the pipes and requires a deep clean with hot water to fix. This can also appear if no sanitation is done. Please follow the maintenance protocol included in the manual.

Set up

Step 1: Location requirements

/!\ DANGER: Risk of electric shock. Install Deeptime Cold Plunge at least 1.5 meters (5 feet), from all electrical outlets and appliances.

  • Place the Deeptime Cold Plunge on a solid, level, waterproof surface.
  • When you place the Deeptime Cold Plunge you want to make sure there’s at least 16 inches of clearance on end with where the component parts live for ventilation.
  • On the front side there should be at least 12 inches of space to access the drain and for ventilation.
  • As you face the LED Display, the left side only needs 4 inches from the wall.
  • We recommend having around 4 inches of clearance from the wall on the other end of the tub from the LED Display so you can lean your head back.

Not following these requirements will void your warranty.
