Caring for Your Deeptime Chiller Series
We're thrilled that you are enjoying the Deeptime! To keep it running smoothly and the water sparkling clear, here is the guide on how to take care of your Deeptime. Remember, skipping the maintenance steps will damage your Deeptime and even void its warranty, so let's keep it in tip-top shape together!
This article is for the following tubs:
- Deeptime Fiber Core Tub
- Deeptime Air Core Slant Tub
Please note: these recommendations are the minimum requirement. If you have the Cold Plunge outside and notice more dirt or water changes you may need to service the unit more frequently than what is recommended here. These recommendations are for residential use only.
Every 2 Days at Minimum:
- Clear the water of debris using the skimmer net.
- Clear any debris from the drain screens.
- Wipe film at the water line.
-
To keep your Plunge water safe and clean, see below for a protocol we recommend. This is a protocol that we’ve seen work well for most situations. Please keep in mind that water chemistry can be different based on the quality of your water in your jurisdiction. If you are on well water, please make sure you have the ability to properly reduce calcium levels before filling the tub. High amounts of calcium can damage the pump over time.
Poor water quality can lead to skin infections, ear infections, and urinary tract infections. That's why it's important to monitor and manage the quality of the water routinely.
These water maintenance instructions are meant to be used alongside the regular maintenance protocols for your Plunge. For more guidance, please email support@deeptime.cool.
